The most important part of our work involves networking and funds. These at-risk horses are located at auctions, are in kill pens, and are listed by private sellers. We evaluate each horse individually to see if it's a horse we can help save. If we decide we can, we post it on our Facebook page and ask for shares and donations. We are most active on our Facebook page because it's a lot easier and faster to post there than to try to update a website every time a horse needs help. So we ask that if you want to help, first and foremost please LIKE our Facebook page and SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! Especially watch for our SOS stories, those horses in the most immediate need. To help us even more, check out our suggestions below... |
Be InspiredIf you have the skills to take on an at-risk horse, please contact us and we can help you take those steps towards making your first save. You can also serve as a foster home for any of our horses in need. And don't forget: we are always happy to report the horse you take home as a "foster fail" - that you end up keeping yourself!

Let Us Help YouReady to ride? Contact us and let us know where you are and what you're looking for. Please understand that a rescue horse is NOT to be considered a cheap way to get a horse. These horses are worthy and ready to take on a new and safe life where they are no longer in danger of becoming at-risk again. We are happy to help you find your forever equine companion.

Offer ResourcesWe are always on the lookout for free and inexpensive hauling, short-term quality quarantine care, and foster care. We can also use donations of grain, bagged feed, hay, bedding, even veterinary, dental, farrier and other services. We're also always open to new ideas. Please contact us if you have resources you can share to help save the horses.

DonateIf you don't have the time or the resources to take in a horse, we can always use funds. You can direct your contribution to a specific horse in need, you can donate to a general fund to be used as needs arise. We gratefully accept products that can be used in the rescue or resold. We are a non-profit organization, so your donations are tax deductible.
